ONLINE CAN STILL   BE HANDS-ON FUN!

STEM & DESIGN

MISSION

Founded in 2020, Youth Innovate aims to bring a creative and hands-on STEM education to students in grades 3 to 8 who do not normally get these opportunities at traditional schools. Furthermore, the program empowers young women to pursue STEM fields in order to address the current gender imbalance in engineering. The unique classes led by a high schooler in a fun, lively atmosphere emphasize innovation through project-based learning.

WHAT STUDENTS SAY

WHY YOUTH INNOVATE?

1. Fun and lively atmosphere led by a high school student

2. Hands-on projects with mailed materials in live classes

3. Unique STEM and design learning opportunities

ARTS & CRAFTS BECOMES STEM

As the students progress, the projects transition from arts & crafts projects integrated with STEM concepts to real world projects requiring engineering skills such as computer-aided design (CAD), programming, and Arduino electronics. This is an effective way to spark interests in pursuing a future degree in engineering.
